Bruno's - Lakewood

This restaurant is a bit out of the way for us, but it's worth every mile. The place is unassuming with simple decor, but the focus is on the food and service. Our server was great and the menu options were so delicious it was hard to choose. We tried the rouladen and the wurst teller. My husband said it was the best rouladen he's had outside of Germany. The wurst teller was fantastic with authentic red cabbage and sauerkraut that was so good I could have eaten a bucket full. The potato salad was perfect and the spatzel was simple yet complemented the other flavors well. If you enjoy German and/or Polish cuisine, this is definitely the place to visit. We plan on trying the schnitzel plates on our next visit!

Bruno's is easily one of my favorites! First of all, the service is always wonderful. Cindy is the sweetest, she's my girl! Always so happy, remembers my family I, she is just such a joy! They have a wide variety menu whatever you're in the mood for I'm sure they have it. Some of my favorites; Jäger schnitzel (you have to try this, the gravy is chef's kiss), schnitzel sandwich is my go to simply delicious, Potato pancakes w/ apple sauce, Fcurry wurst, Goulasch soup. I always get their potato salad instead of french fries I love the cucumber salad also. My mom loves the liver also Frikadelle. They always have delicious cakes to choose from, the black forest bee sting are my two favs. The restaurant is always clean, playing good ole German hits, everyone is just very friendly. Go visit them, you'll love it there!

Good service, great food, good wine. They could use some vegetables besides variations on cabbage. Some green beans would go good with a German meal. But it was delicious and filling, and worth the price. Parking was no problem. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Bruno's is the genuine article! The service was impeccable. The food was outstanding and tasted just like being in a Gast Haus in Baden-Wurtemburg. If you want authentic German cuisine, this is the place to go! We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Was eating here today and there was a roach crawling up the wall next to me. No more eating here for me.
