It was a Saturday afternoon and there were a couple large groups there. Abby was our server...she was very sweet and helpful. I ordered 1/2 burger, coleslaw, and I asked for fries. The coleslaw was very spicy and for $4 I got crumbs for French fries! That had to be the most disappointing thing. $4 for a measly plate of French fries and most were so teeny. The burger was nicely cooked...pickles on it were a bit hard. Coleslaw was just was disappointing to me. I'm sure it'll be many years before I return. Things are so different from way back when. I say take your chances with MELT.
My sister's favorite spot! We came in after the Day of the Dead festival and enjoyed our food a ton! It was really slow, but we barely saw our server and often had empty glasses. It may have been that our server was new, and our experience was unique, because another server (who wasn't ours) was helping her out and her service was EXCELLENT. They have a ton of variety and do everything well, a great spot to take the family to lunch!
Me and a friend walked in early afternoon and only another couple were sitting at the bar. It took the bartender about 5 minutes to notice us as we waited by the front desk to be seated. The bartender finally noticed and seated us and she had a soft spoken voice that was a little hard to hear what she had to say. I ordered a special drink that Melts instagram showed they had, the bartender didnt know anything about it and instead of gummie worns as pictured in the drink she gave me a gummie frog thing that wasnt tasteful and not even remotely halloween themed. Throughout the dining experience food came out fast and excellent tasting. But this bartender/server was not attentive and had more fun talking to the coworkers in the kitchen then asking if we wanted another drink or how everything was. I had to flag her down just to get her attention by this time the people at the bar were gone and it was only me and my friend in the entire building). Also she sat us right in the middle of the of the dining area at the smallest table ever, didn 't even ask us if we wanted to sit by the window or anything. This girl had glasses, black hair, and big gauges, and I do not recommend her to be a server or bartender, she did not have any expierence in making sure the customers were satisfied. So it kinda made the expierence more sucky.
Was not sure about the place when we got there, but got way better as we were there. Food was great
Nice little spot with good food, good service and a decent, bar style atmosphere. Huge menu with good variety and a full bar.
