El Tapatio - Lakewood

Awesome El Tapatio Special, mixed fajita meat on top of a quesadilla! Great tasting grill meat and veges. 10 stars with Homemade salsa and fresh chips.

I usually enjoy the food here but, tonight I 'm disappointed. I ordered the red chile enchiladas and, this is the worst red sauce I 've ever had in my life. It tastes like it came out of a can. The carnitas are the bomb, beans and rice are always good! That red sauce should be, Chile Rojo , not tomato sauce.

Very nice place to go and eat. Got seated quickly and ordered. The staff was nice and our food came out quickly. It was very tasty. I got a fajita steak burrito. It was filling. The place was clean. Will be back.

The service at this restaurant was terrible. Despite ordering extra grilled chicken and jalapeños, they never arrived by the end of the meal. The waiters seemed confused and it took a while for them to understand our orders. The food itself was fine, but the service definitely brought down the overall experience. I would rate it 3 stars mainly because of the service. Additionally, the bill came to $100, so I expected better service considering the price.
