Village Inn - Lakewood

Started with chicken noodle soup and it was nice and hot and just the right consistency. Not too thick. Then the turkey bacon avocado melt was great because Village Inn is one of the only restaurants that uses real roasted turkey and nit lunchmeat. Thank you.

This is a great place to enjoy a delicious meal at any time of day. The staff demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and efficiency. Although we experienced a slight wait due to the restaurant's reopening amid ongoing COVID-19 adjustments, the employees were clearly working twice as hard to accommodate everyone. Despite the challenges, they handled the situation remarkably well, and our server was friendly and attentive throughout our visit.

We were pressed for time and urgently needed a strawberry rhubarb pie. Fortunately, they had it ready for us at a great price. We also couldn't resist getting a banana cream pie because it looked so tempting, and it was just as delicious!

I arrived around noon, and the restaurant was quite busy. However, we were seated right away, and the waiter informed us that she would be with us shortly. Shortly after we sat down, a friendly staff member cleaned off a table for us, even though we hadn’t requested it—what excellent service! My girlfriend ordered the Eggs Benedict, which she loved, and I had the 2-2-2 breakfast, which was also delicious. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with both the service and the food.
