Mcdonald's - Lamar

I highly recommend this McDonald's. The service was top-notch, with a fast and efficient employee taking our order and a friendly coworker delivering our food exactly as ordered. Overall, a great experience!

The staff at this restaurant is fantastic. They should be rewarded for their exceptional hospitality, which is rare to find in the food service industry.

This restaurant is perfect for large trucks with a big open seating area that can accommodate at least 12 people or more at a time. The truck stop is conveniently located nearby. The food is delicious and served warm, with quick and friendly service. It's McDonald's, so you know what to expect. I had a positive experience and would definitely stop here again without hesitation.

Workers very nice and order was correct the first time

The ice cream machine works—every time!!! AMAZING!! As a traveler, I have been to numerous McDonalds all over the US…and as anyone who travels knows, many McDonald’s ice cream machines do not work (for whatever the reason or excuse). At this location, however, the machine works ALL the time, every single time In addition, the staff is great. They never mess up my order I hate wasting time: pulling into a McDonald’s location to only hear excuses and to see frowns as to why the ice cream machine is down. So, if you’re on I80, stop at the Lamar McDonald’s. They get it right. PS. To save all time and frustration, I think McDonald’s should post on their highway billboards, in huge letters, saying their machine is broken. Agree?
