Stopped at this place during our tour between wine yards in Aix en provence area. Plate du jour was a lamb pie and others ordered smoked duck and steak. Welcoming was very good and we managed with our poos french to understand the menu. We ordered and they received the order with a smile. The dishes were very good balanced and delicious.
We found this restaurant by happy chance on our way to Avignon on Route Nationale 7 (GPS 43 degrees 40'36.4 N,5 degree's 13'33.8 E according to the restaurant's card! between Lambesc and Mallemort. It has tables outside and a large inside dining room with a bar and a washroom spotlessly clean with contemporary fittings. The service was friendly, informal and helpfully informative about the short but interesting menu. Dishes included a tasty fish soup with toast a la poutage, grilled steak with chimchuri, and a wheat risotto served with a salad garnished with Parmesan shavings. Wine was available by the glass or carafe. Both food and wine not excessively priced and both well above the norm in presentation and taste.
We were from marseille to avignon on the N7 and stumbled on this street restaurant that has a lot of parking. there is a menu plus a chalkboard to choose from so much selection. as they may guess from the restaurant name, there is a great choice of weep, but we have just chosen a pitcher of red, which was excellent for 8 €. we all had cooked the rouelles de sanglier (sweetlings,) to perfection. service was friendly, fast and efficient. if in the opposite here would recommend everyone
Excellent evening, very pleasant, the menu was selected with finesse, and the products were 100% fresh, including fish-based dishes. I took the encornet lamellas, the lobster bisque sauce I was regaled, and unlike the lies of some I was not sick. If they were sick, they were drunk.
