Contribuisci feedbackI had a terrible experience with this restaurant. My wife purchased a six-month subscription to their monthly meat box for me. The first box we received had expired items, and the quality of the items in subsequent boxes was inconsistent, with one box containing a block of pure fat. After three months, the boxes stopped arriving altogether. Despite multiple attempts to have them restarted, we only received one more box before the deliveries ceased yet again. The restaurant agreed to refund the remaining portion of the expensive subscription, but a month later, we still haven't received it. Their customer service is clearly lacking, and I don't believe their boxes are worth the £30 price tag each.
Our experience at this small cured meat stand was fantastic, with a range of distinctive combinations. The dried meat is sourced locally from the UK, and we particularly loved the Truffle and Mushroom, Rosemary and Garlic, and Fennel flavors. They also offer more daring options like mutton, lamb, and blood orange with chocolate. We bought some dried sausages to bring home at very affordable prices. We highly recommend this place!
This restaurant in Borough Market is fantastic. They offer a wide variety of their own artisan cured meats, priced per 100 grams. They are willing to slice smaller portions, which is not common in other shops. I bought a few 100 gram cuts as a sampling and everything tasted delicious - not too fatty or greasy, and all cured perfectly. The staff was patient and knowledgeable, taking the time to answer all my questions. Overall, the prices are reasonable.
While slightly pricey, the top-notch ingredients definitely make up for it. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great.
Perfect spot. Great service, good wine, perfect view (watching people passing). Had fennel sausage and Irish cheese!
