The ambience is just fine and nothing that catches your attention. The service is also just okay but the food is excellent. I would love to go back!
If only this place had a better location, I could have given it all my love. However, the food and the lovely staff surely deserve much appreciation. What else does one need in a perfect setting of a dinner where you get great food and company both? I would highly recommend this place, especially if you're staying somewhere nearby.
My recent visit to this place was a delightful surprise. It has a very cosy, little setting and serves the best Trinidad cuisines in the city. They have great food being served here- I really enjoyed the 'allyu ' rotis I had here. I definitely award this place the highest rating, and recommend it to anybody looking for an authentic Trinidad experience in this city.
This is one amongst the most authentic Trinidadian takeaways opposite Clapham North tube station. It is great to be able to avail such food in London. I've had my fair share of encounters with this cuisine, having a Trini partner and having had the opportunity of eating the street food there and home food. Most of the Caribbean places in London are Jamaican with only a few offering a bit of Trinidad on the menus. This place gets the food bang on! I've tried the curry goat and curry duck both proving to be good. The doubles are usually nice too. The barra was soft, warm being grease free while the channa was fresh. The problem for me however lay in that doubles are usually supposed to be, a dark deep color with the grease turning the wrapper see through. However, the doubles the other day, were seeming a tad bit sanitized and not the way street food ought to be, in terms being greasy.
Trinidadian takeaway of exceptional quality – my fave carib take out in london trini tobago ‘Caribbean’ food rules! when used to the ubiquitous caribbean jerk chicken and have not yet tried to eat trini, they go on adventurously expand their culinary palette and get them to roti jouper, they will not be disappointed! Roti jouper to describe only as Caribbean takeaway, so there is something that distinguishes this and the shepherds bush out of all other carib takeaways. what makes this place so special? it is an authentic trinidadian takeaway, the creations of this beautiful island are clearly different from the rest of the Caribbean. that this place is always busy, speaks volume after I previously visited trinidad tobago, I can vouch that the delicious wide menu is 100% authentic. the cheerful employees who work here from these insulates serve them with a smile and help to create a “buzer”. on the menu there is much more to explore than just the overhead ads, check the mouth water mac cheese cake and brot. also so much from the menu you can freeze them so well the effort to store when they have some distance to travel. redi jouper was actually discovered by infestation, and a very positive result after my dear friend had been robbed from trinidad had returned from a purse finally intact minus all bar £1 searche shouldace in a caffe outside the archway tube station, we met talk after picking a trini akzent, "if they want authentice trini paupe, they would pick up after red I ordered a massive extradition that my dear friend in portslade brighton took back to her apartment. On October 16th, I stepped again for another order so hard that the wall pocket came apart from the sewn, this will soon be on the way with me back to brighton, and thanks to the very generous “Extras. ‘
