Nice wee restaurant on Lower Marsh just behind Waterloo Station. Very clean and with great staff that don’t fuss over you. I had the Vegetarian Spring Rolls which were superb and the Spicy Fried Rice chicken again a superb dish. Not too heavy on the wallet and like I said the staff were well informed and each dish and were not pushy. I will go there again.
Lower Marsh was a block away from our hotel (Park Plaza County Hall). Our first night, I had their Tom Yum Soup and Pad Thai with Shrimp. My wife had their egg fried rice. We liked it so much, we went back. This time I had their Tamarind Duck. WOW! So flavorful.
Not impressed at all, not with the food and def not with the service. The vegetables tasted old as did the noodles which were drenched a sickly sauce. Would not recommend.
Found this gem while walking back from the Imperial war museum. It’s just around the corner from the Leake street arches/graffiti tunnel. Tried 2 different dishes and they were both fantastic! The service, quality and quantity prices are so so so much better than the restaurants in the Chinatown area. Highly recommend.
Great meal with friendly service. The Som tum salad was amazing. They made it extra spicy for us. Very authentic food. Always a good sign when you have locals eating there.
