Last Saturday night, the bouncers at your restaurant were allowing individuals to enter without checking their IDs. Although they requested ID from the group in front of us, they still permitted them to enter even when they did not have it.

I will never visit this establishment again, especially with a group of 20 people. We had reserved a space for a farewell gathering and were enjoying ourselves. However, things took a turn when the bar manager abruptly announced that she would not be serving any more drinks because we had consumed all of her Campari. Couldn't she offer something else instead? Despite our protests, she ended up kicking out all 20 of us because she and her staff couldn't handle the situation. It was unacceptable for her to threaten us with involving the police, especially considering that we all work in the hospitality industry and understand the challenges it presents. There is no justification for such incompetence or behavior.

The bar is busy and packed. That's understandable because it's popular. However, there is no excuse for the extremely rude bartender, Josh. When I placed my first order, he questioned it as if I was bothering him. When I ordered a second drink an hour later, he gave me a dirty look and said, "Say please!" Firstly, I did say it, he just didn't hear me. Secondly, he shouldn't be lecturing me about manners. How dare he! Another staff member also yelled at us and became confrontational when we asked him not to speak to us like children. Rude, unprofessional, arrogant... I would never return to this bar, even if you paid me, solely because of the disrespectful behavior of the bar staff, especially Josh (the tall guy with a thin beard). Based on other reviews, it seems like I'm not the only one he has treated poorly, so clearly the bar manager isn't doing anything about it. There are plenty of other great bars in Clapham - go try them instead.

Hello, I genuinely hope this is some helpful feedback because I really liked coming to Venn St Records. If covid didn 't hit I would have had my birthday party there! Last night (29/07/22), I have never experienced such rude and unfriendly staff anywhere I ever gone out. Also, I have never written a complaint about any business ever, but I felt I had to give you some feedback because I like the place and the experience could be 1000x better. The issues were: 1. The guy looking after the outside area in the waistcoat at 9:40 was telling people to go inside. When I asked why he said that at 10:30 the outside area closes!? He didn 't just say this once but every 10 minutes or so for the next hour. And every time it was like we were just really putting him out. 2. The door people have this absurd airlock system. Go in one door, wait in the middle part for the next door to be opened. The guy manning the second door said quick quick like I was the one slowing it down. Also, when a girl wanted to push past my friends and I, that however was no problem?? 3. The INCREDIBLY rude barman. He took the drink orders from any women around me until there was no one left to serve and I had been waiting ages and then was looking past me hoping someone else would come until he reluctantly served me. It was loud so I said loudly a meantime , he very seriously said what 's the magic word? he said this several times until I understood that he was annoyed I didn 't say please . How incredibly petty!! He was a bigger guy with a beard. I left.

Not only was this the worse mojito in the world and I have had a few) when I went to give feedback the surly bar manager was not only rude and shouted over me but did not have any understanding of customer service and considered feedback to be obnoxious. She repeatedly told me how hard they had been working the garden area as of that was an excuse for serving appalling drinks. They obviously do not understand that a mojito is supposed to be a relative sweet drink. Btw their coffee martini was not much cop either I hear. I advise you to give it a big miss and as I was repeatedly told by the bar staff go yo one of the other cocktail bars in the area.
