Mariscos Las Islitas - Lamont

This is one of the top Mexican restaurants in Bakersfield. The food is incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented. The service is exceptional.

The service was terrible; it took a long time for our food to be served.

It took nearly 40 minutes to get our cocktail, and there were only about eight customers in the restaurant—not exactly a busy time.

The food and service was good but once I saw a roach I lost my appetite

Today we went out to dinner. It was just a waitress serving 5 tables. 3 family tables, the tortillas were brought to me 10 minutes after the food and drinks. We still didn't enjoy the food and it wasn't even her fault because everything she was doing was the work of 2 people. The owners want to save money by giving them double the work. one person and that is why they are not giving good service. Personally, I don't think I will return.
