Genuine bagels have a crispy and slightly chewing outer crust with a slightly dense and soft gum inside. They are generous with their coatings. Harvest Moon Bagel Co nails it. I bought her all bagel and I'm so glad to eat this bagel as I type this review. Nothing else I tried in the area is even close. I'll be back!!!
All right! I have not seen unusual aromas elsewhere like fennel salt. Do you love the specialized sandwiches like the vegan ox (which knew carrot ox would be so good? Pa Dutch. Pepperpot on everything, please!
There are a lot of reasons why I love this place. Great owners, delicious food, welcoming atmosphere... Delightful creative and wildly qualified! The biggest reason I like it here is because they go the extra mile. During the Corona virus shutdowns, they are in the extra work to deliver goods. They really do their best to show that the community is in the heart of this place. Always professional and passionate.
This place Legit has the best bagels you'll ever try and they make it by hand. I used to be at home in Downtown Lancaster, this place made my time homeless much better LOL I live now in Baltimore, so I'm off the road. I can't wait to visit Lancaster again and eat here. The staff is quite cold, I remember when I and my friend visited - I spilled my chocolate milk and laughed loud, but they didn't yell at me. I'm really sorry for this ****! My favorite thing from the menu is the pumpkin spice 'n Chocolate Chip Bagel. It was a limited option for case/hallowees. I would recommend to anyone who wants to visit Lancaster to eat here. It's very good.
You can now have a fresh bagel every morning in Lancaster. Just don't wait too long or they might sell out. Crisp outside with a chewy, soft interior, as they should be. The highlight is whatever latest, in-season variant is on offer. Sometimes in the summer it's the tomato cream cheese, in the spring they have ramps, in the winter they are know to have pierogie. Just go with what's on special and you'll know that it was put together at its peak. One more hot tip, even the flour used is locally milled so by supporting this small business your also supporting other farmers here in Lancaster.
