Szechuan Gourmet - Lancaster

This restaurant is one of only two in Lancaster county, the Szechuan style Chinese food and, in my opinion, it is also the better of both. Everything is very authentic and delicious. My favorites are the dry chili chicken the brat pig belly

We were introduced into the Sichuan kitchen by Han Dynasty in Philly. This place is an excellent stand. Their dry pepper style chicken meets DIFFERENT (is amazing) and their Dan noodles hit the point. Don't come here for standard Chinese food because you'll miss!

Excellent kitchen. Make an order online. Was ready to pick up. Friendly service. Clean dining room. The food was fresh and delicious. We ordered beef and broccoli, dumplings and soup. Everything was fantastic! Very recommended.

I ordered, and the food was amazing. The dumplings and Dan noodles are a must, and in any case the Hot Spicy Delight. This was a fantastic meal to share and enjoy.

So far, one of the only authentic regional Chinese restaurants in Lancaster. Their Szechuan menu does not disappoint. Price for the dishes represent the quality of the food. Veteran Chinese food afficionados will find here the other unique dishes sorely lacking in almost all other general Chinese restaurants in the area. Even the General Tso 's chicken, required in every Chinese restaurant in the USA, tastes better here with better and larger chunks and significantly less breading, and the sauce not cloyingly sweet. The Ma Po Tofu is very respectable as well, with just enough Szechuan peppercorn to get you buzzing. Overall, the closest Chinese food to NYC Chinatown you can get in Lancaster.
