Yes, I'm always interested in different cuisines. Being the foodie that I am , a friend recommended this small, Kenyan owned restaurant in a neighborhood in Lancaster! Firstly, their only open Fridays Saturdays from 11:30am-7pm. Secondly, there's no parking. They have tables but it appears that most of their business is take out! So, there we are to try Kenyan inspired cooking to take home for dinner. There is a steam table with all their offerings in 2 size plastic containers! I ordered one portion of everything: beef stew, chicken stew, pilao rice, futu, roasted potatoes in sauce stewed cabbage in sauce. In addition 4 meat samosas 2 Kenyan sausages! $73.50 Maybe enough food for 4 people! OK, first impression is that the taste spice levels are Indian in style! Not good, not bad! Just I was expecting some different flavors other than from the Indian subcontinent! It's worth a try if you want to try something different but not mind-boggling!Parking: Street parking if available!Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible, there is a high front step!
Amazing! Stepping through the doors, I felt so welcomed! After sampling the curry chicken, I immediately ordered other dishes. Im definitely coming back
Tried fufu for the first time and was not disappointed. Food, service, and the music were all to my liking. Definitely recommending this place.
I've been eager to try this restaurant for ages, and it definitely lived up to my expectations! The spices and flavors were exceptional—so rich and delicious. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly.
