Staff all superb and attentive, food excellent and hot, seating well spaced out, toilets immaculate, a definite must.

Visited on a Friday night and it was not at all busy . Asked if we wanted to sit at the bar but we went straight to the table . Menus were brought and drinks ordered and this is where it fell down . Drinks...were a short while coming but nobody can to take our order . We came in at 6.30 and at 6.55 , when we had asked our order was taken . Staff were there but they were not paying attention to the customers . Food in my opinion very average and over priced . .We had 2 starters and there were 4 of us so you could have assumed we were sharing , we had to ask for plates they weren’t offered .There were 4 of us and everyone sent back half of their meal . The spaghetti bolognaise had the weirdest taste , would have thought that was a staple ! Spaghetti carbonara, bacon very chewy and the sauce thick . Pizza was just ok but the base not as crispy as it should have been . Baked penne in a cream sauce was sickly but there was plenty of it .

Booked in for “happy hour” but they have now stopped doing it ….. meal was ok basic to be honest and what Italian restaurant doesn’t do lasagna? Asked for a bottle of prosecco now i’ve worked in hospitality and i get it …....But wow £26 for a £9.00 bottle of fizz …… wowwwwwwwwwww certainly won’t be going back nothing to write home about

Four of us came to Marcos on Saturday night the food was excellent couldn’t of been better,shame it was let down by the service, shown straight to our table told someone would come and take our drinks order no one came they eventually came to...take the food order and took drinks order at the same time we didn’t get our drinks until the food arrived, you missed out on a few rounds of drinks so slow, we weren’t offered a desert menu or coffees come on basics more training needed not for the food though that was beautiful
