Masala Iii - Lancaster

We ordered the set menu last night and we were not disappointed! It was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of food. I am always a bit hesitant when trying a new takeout place, but I had nothing to worry about. We did not have any issues with the delivery either. We will definitely be ordering from Masala Red again.

Ordered food and didn’t arrive till hours later, at which point I was no longer at the location. Every time I rang up I was told more minutes’. No apology or discount was offered. Extremely unprofessional.

We purchased on Dec, excellent. Today a big difference, lamb so gristly. From to in a week!

Great food, good prices and friendly staff! We regularly get food from them as it's our local, and never been disappointed. Worth noting it's cash only, but not really a problem.

I have not used this takeaway quite a while, I got a message off a follower of the page to try it and so it was the takeaway I went for. I ordered from Masala through Food Hub which was a first for me as...I always have used just eat before tonight, it was very easy to use, can log in via your Facebook account rather than creating a new account and I received off my meal as well. Would use this app again. I ordered a curry I have never had before called Lamb Jhal Bhuna with pilau rice and Bombay Potato's. When selecting my curry I had the options of medium, hot and very hot, I ordered medium as I like flavour and spice but nothing too hot. The meal including delivery was around and no service charge for using my card. The menu was very varied with lots of different choices, even salmon varieties of each dish which have never seen before from a curry house. For vegetarians there is a section of vegetarian specials which all sounded nice and you have the option of it being a side or a main. Sadly it dies not mention vegan. There is also a vegetable option for each curry as well as the specials. Food was meant to take mins and it arrived around half an hour early. The food arrived hot which isn't always the case with takeaways. I would say it was a very good portion size as I only put half of what I ordered on my plate, was full and the rest is going in the freezer. The curry was full of flavour, had green chilli's in it that gave the dish a kick and the lamb was really tender. The bombay potato's came with a good amount of sauce and they were full of flavour. No guest reviewer as chilling out at home while my husband is away.
