Great chips and fantastic salt and pepper calamari. South Melb dimi's yay! Who could want better than this in the country? We are very lucky.

Well stuck at a lovely accom in Lancefield with no food and no car! Was planning on eating at the accoms restaurant but was CLOSED. So i called Lancefield Takeaway...Rob the owner offered to deliver steak sandwiches etc to me but I had no cas on me to pay. So Rob offered to come pick me up so i could get cash out and pickup my food and drop me back to my accom! Just finished a delish steak sandwich and chunky fresh cooked chips...Thanks Rob! Country hospitality at its best!

Stopped in here for lunch over the Xmas weekend. Good fish and chips and friendly staff. Hubby had a sauvlaki; it wasnt a real Greek one but ok. We went back the next day for dinner; desent pizza. Prices were ok. But it is a takeaway so if looking for a proper dinner there are other places in town.
