While not everyone is a fan of buffets, this one is truly exceptional. All the food is homemade, served hot, and never dried out; it's continually refreshed, making for a wonderful dining experience. The owner is always present, very friendly, and genuinely appreciative of his guests. The restaurant itself is located in an old residence, which adds a charming touch if you enjoy that kind of ambiance, and I certainly do. My wife and I will definitely be returning to support this gem; it's a real treasure for the community.
I am a repeat customer and I just love the food here. They have the best fried chicken, delicious creamed corn, and amazing red velvet cake. The mac and cheese is also fantastic. Everything is wonderful! The staff is very friendly and frequently checks in on you. The dining is buffet style, which adds to the experience.
We’ve been wanting to stop by this restaurant numerous times, but it just never worked out. Finally, we had the opportunity to visit, and now it will definitely be on our list for repeat visits! I’ve tried most of the Stax locations, and this one is by far my favorite. Everything was absolutely delicious, but the standout dish was the fried fish with tartar sauce. The fish itself was packed with flavor and had the perfect light crunch, and when paired with the tartar sauce, it created a heavenly combination of flavors. I can’t emphasize enough how evident the care, dedication, history, and love are from the chefs and owners in this establishment. We enjoyed dining on the patio, which exuded old Southern charm and was simply delightful. We’ll definitely be bringing others along to experience this hidden gem in Landrum, SC!
