El Chile Rojo - Landrum

This place had a friendly atmosphere that most will enjoy. The staff where great and the wait for food was short. I will come back for more.

The atmosphere was lovely, the service was exceptionally accommodating, and the food was fantastic, complemented by courteous servers. This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and after usually frequenting Monterrey Mexican Restaurant, I can confidently say that El Chile Rojo has now become our top choice for Mexican cuisine.

ROBERT and I just finished eating at EL CHILE ROJO, and the food was absolutely delicious! We even have some leftovers to take home. You definitely get your money's worth here!

Here's the deal: this restaurant used to have a bad reputation, and we all know it. However, I have to say, on our last few visits, the experience has been outstanding—I'm genuinely not exaggerating. If you ever crossed this place off your list, I encourage you to give it another shot; you'll be glad you did. It's great to have options, and I truly believe this is a fantastic one.

So I ordered the lunch special Pollo Fundido. As you can see the price is $8.55. I ordered the lunch special because I was paying for multiple meals and wanted to save a few dollars. When they rang me up she put $9.55. I asked her what the price was? The menu says $8.55. She proceeded to tell me ?yes it?s more because the cost of food has went up, we didn?t want to have to do it but we had to raise our prices.? I?m sorry but you either change the prices in your menu or you honor the prices you?re advertising. My order is Togo so I haven?t even tried the food yet but am already disappointed in the service.
