V's Doghouse, Inc. - Lanesborough

The place sucks i worked there for two days it so nasty the cook are not real cooks in fact none of them have ever worked in a kitchen. They percook there chicken it old and nasty they dont label anything so u dont know i old it is people are rude and the owner stupid i worked two days and after i quite waited a week for my check and they didnt have it still dont i guess they thought people work for free. I would not ever let my dog eat there nevermind My family.

This place is now the Brookhouse. Foods OK. Pub style. Been there 3 times since they reopened a month ago and each time, the service was terrible. I was giving them some slack since they had reopened after being closed for a while, but tonight was the last time I 'll hit this spot. The bartender didn 't acknowledge my friend and I for at least 5 minutes because she was on her phone, looked like she was checking Facebook or something.... When she did get to us, she told us they were out of 3 items on the menu. No 'hey ' or Hello '. And they were out of burgers. Come on. Really? Who runs out of burgers? All of this while she was chewing and snapping gum loudly. The guy next to us had the same experience. Just really poor service with no checking in with us or goodbye. I 'm not a picky person, but if you 're in the service industry, you MUST take care of you patrons. Oh. And on another occasion, the owner 's son was asked to change the channel on the TV by a patron and he said not and that he didn 't like that channel. That crazy.

We live in the area. Just one too many bad experiences, love the back yard but we're never going back.

Decent bar food, but not the best. Hot dogs are good but rolls are hard. Wing Dings (breaded chicken wings) on online menu but are not sold there. The service was bad, bartender rood, waitress on i phone, too busy for customer service. I guess they are to busy to make money. I only left a tip out of kindness.
