Absolute top Heuriger, with great value for money. I don't understand the bad reviews about the waitresses. Miss P. in particular was competent, friendly and quick. Gladly again!

The restaurant seems to be full, stay out of my way. The boss was annoyed and said we should stand in front of the door, we might get something to drink.

We don't know the Heurigen Nastl yet, so we take the opportunity that he has unplugged and reserve a table. The menu is creative and more extensive than at some other Heurigen. We order a cheese platter and a fresh goat's cheese for the main course. For a sweet finish, I ask for only half a portion of the poppy-cherry cake, because I saw at the next table how big a normal portion of cake is. The food is definitely an eye-catcher, but the goat cheese and salad are so mild to no seasoning that I request both salt, pepper, vinegar and chutney. Unfortunately, the bread is a bit dry, the Wachauer Laberl unfortunately not an original. Served by an intern who tries hard but still acts very stiff. Hope she feels more comfortable in her summer job soon . Hm... all in all, there is unfortunately a lack of attention to detail and a sense of taste in the seasoning.
