Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - Lansing

Our server was truly exceptional, the best around. The food was served piping hot and cooked to perfection. I ordered the fish dinner, which came with a side of beans, rice, and a baked potato. I requested the fish to be crispy, and they delivered exactly that. The portions were generous enough that I had leftovers to take home, which was perfect. Overall, it made for a fantastic birthday dinner.

This was my first visit to the restaurant. Unfortunately, the table had an unpleasant smell reminiscent of dirty dishwater. On a positive note, the server was friendly and immediately brought us some delicious croissants. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing and enjoyable. I really liked the chicken broccoli Alfredo; the chicken was tender, the noodles and sauce were flavorful, but the broccoli was completely raw. However, the rest of our food was served hot.

I love this place for the first time here tried some drinks and some good eating and I love it our waitress ashley was so attentive and very punctual and efficient I will come back to this place when we are in the city. I guess the hospitable

The food was good but the staff was amazing!! We were in town as my husband was graduating from Michigan State U. What he didn’t know was that our adult children were coming in to surprise him and be there for his graduation. When our kids got to Cheddars they explained to the staff what they were doing and the staff jumped right in to make sure everything was a great surprise for when my husband and I arrived. They yelled surprise, took videos for us, clapped and made us feel extra special. They made us feel like we were all family!! They also treated us to some great desserts! You truly all went above and beyond and made our time there wonderful! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!

I was in Lansing for a conference and looked forward to being able to eat here. I had eaten at one in Lafayette IN and looked up to see if they had a location in Michigan. This is the only one (come on put one in Ann Arbor since you seem to locate near Big Ten schools). I love their version of the Monte Cristo sandwich but not the green beans. Pot pie and salads have been tried by dinner companions and loved. Any time I am in Lansing, I will eat here.
