The location is really cool and I would recommend it for drinks, but not for dinner. The previous reviews were outdated and I was worried that the restaurant hadn't improved much since then. I decided to try the 'Vegan Pizza' since the Lao food was said to be unimpressive. The menu warned that it would take some time to prepare due to their high food standards, but even after waiting, the pizza was not ready. I had requested extra vegetables, but was only given broccoli and onion. I ended up essentially just eating dough with tomato sauce and onion, which was disappointing. When I asked for extra vegetables again, the server brought me a plate of raw onion, which was not what I had in mind.
We discovered this establishment to be quite pleasant, with a cozy and trendy ambiance. It's a lovely spot to enjoy a drink while taking in the great views and soaking up the relaxed atmosphere. The herbal tea is quite good and seems to last forever when you order a pot (20,000 kip). We decided to give the 'Vegan family dinner' a try (30,000 kip) but unfortunately, we were left disappointed. The meal consisted of a large bowl of rice and three varieties of cooked green vegetables, all seasoned similarly. While you can have as much as you like, we found the meal to be lacking in inspiration and felt somewhat incomplete.
We followed the instructions and ended up discovering this hidden gem of a restaurant. The place is nice and cozy, but the menu is somewhat limited with just a fish dish, a meat dish, and a vegan family meal. We opted to share a table with other guests and their family members, who mysteriously vanished shortly after. Despite feeling a bit skeptical, the food turned out to be delicious. The all-you-can-eat spread included spicy vegetables, mushroom dishes, and rice, all of which was decent and definitely vegan-friendly. Not the most amazing meal, but a solid choice for a satisfying and cruelty-free dining experience.
