Brian's Family - Lapeer

I stopped by this place because I always see cars in the parking lot. I was originally passed by twice by the same waitress. Put a bad taste in my mouth before I even ate. My server Paris was very nice and took me as a single table! Thank you, Paris! Cheese and brocoli soup I have never had cream of broccoli with some kind of bread in it, so it tasted kind of weird. And I passed on it only eating a couple of bites. Fisherman's Platter This was a Sunday special. Deep fried cod, deep fried perch, and deep fired shrimp. I got the veggie for an uncharged instead of potatoes. It was OK. I will say it was not horribly greasy. They must have just changed the frier or something. A mom and pop coney place not great but not great. I'm not sure if it is worth the parking lot being as full as it is. Vegetarian options: They upcharged for veggies. NOT vegetarian friendly.

Giving 3 a half biscuit gravy tasted good just wasn't even warm ,don't like sending anything back ,my hubby's ham was good his eggs cooked right his pancakes looked fluffy, service was great ?

The 1 thing, that made our experience good. was our waitress. Other than that good not great,plus we were in the company of a dishwasher out, collecting dishes, as he wore proudly, a pot hat. Gave the business a bad look.

Nice family spot with good food and diverse options

My husband and I eat here once a week. Michael is the best waiter you could ever have!!! Parking: Place is very busy especially at dinner time, due to excellent food !! Kid-friendliness: Very nice kids menu and kid size meals. Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is on one level to make it easier for wheelchairs and elderly.
