The Country Market - Lapeer

This weekend, I enjoyed some gizzards served with dirty rice, and it was packed with flavor. There were plenty of delicious goodies! I ended my meal with a combination of crispy bacon, savory stew beef, and more gizzards.

It's a small, old restaurant, but their lunch specials are generous and satisfying. I ordered a whole ribeye, which they cut for me right there, and it only cost about $120 at $9.99 per pound. You really can't find a deal like that anywhere else!

Excellent quality meat and deli articles. Your Bacon Burger is phenomenal and will be your guests on your next grill. They also have several varieties of pasta salad to try. They also carry locally produced products such as spice mixtures and baked goods. Make sure to order a meat bundle; they always throw something free like their bacon or chicken breast.

Bought 3 ribeyes yesterday and when I got home had an issue... went back this morning, staff and butcher gave me 0 grief on exchanging for 3 others. The lady behind the counter made sure I got the same exact poundage without me asking. Fast forward to this evening and I had the best ribeyes I've had in years. Well worth it. Will certainly return when I want a great cut of beef that has no preservatives. Damn!! That was a great ribeye!!! Buy zip sauce, and cook with butter on a grill.
