We spent a wonderful week there about 30 years ago with a funny group of drivers from Chicago.
Came here as a child, returned as an adult. The most authentic experience of Wyoming. Real people and amazing history.
I’ll never forget the 2 summers my sister and I spent during July of 1966 and 1967 at the =7, thanks to my Grandmother Margeurite Thorburn. We rode horses, I had a Pinto called Tiger and my sister had a Palamino called Pete I think? We rode horses working with the ranch hands herding Bison and Cattle, branding, cleaning stalls and having the best time. We got to ride in a stage coach during a 4th of July parade in Cheyenne. I believe the same family is still running the ranch and imagine the hospitality is still exceptional.
