Auberge de la Dame Jouanne - Larchant

Can't recommend this restaurant enough. We went for lunch with a big group of friends. Great food and really nice terrace in the forest. Afterwards, my friend's dog was bitten by a snake in the forest and the owners were so helpful, first in realising what had happened, then in calling the vet, driving us to our cars (we had parked in another village) and even following up with us a few times over the next week to make sure she was okay. People say French restaurants aren't friendly. If you think so, this place will change your mind.

In internet you can read : menu spécial randonneur! But in the middle of the afternoon you can only get icecream! But no real Food! Only in the evening 19.30! the concert is beginning on 20.30! And I am hungry! and angry!

Just on the way to the Dame Jouane Boulders. A perfect place to relax after a hard day at the boulders. Great place and great food.

That's a nice restaurant in the forest. It is very nice if you can have dinner outside. The inside can be very noisy. The food is good, cooked with fresh and local produces. Lots of people meaning that it is very well known by locals. Better to book you table during week-ends.

We've been coming here for years, each time we visit Fontainebleau to climb. (about 3 times a year)We're always given a warm, friendly welcome by the owners and serving staff. We love the atmosphere and the setting within the forest.The menu changes frequently and we think it is very good value. We always enjoy eating here and look forward to our visits. Definitely recommended!
