Los Mariachis Ii - Largo

Mexican cuisine is one of my all-time favorites, but I’ve been quite let down by the options in Saint Pete. It seems like everyone is trying to put a modern twist on traditional Mexican food. I've been on the lookout for a genuine Mexican restaurant that offers complimentary chips and tasty salsa, as well as great margaritas and delicious dishes. Thankfully, I finally found that place! It's about a 25-minute drive from St. Pete, which is a bit disappointing. I'm just thrilled that I stumbled upon it during a random craving. I’m not sure why it has received negative reviews, but I hope to help improve its reputation. The exterior looks a bit rough, and I almost left after parking. However, since I visited for lunch, I didn’t encounter any service issues.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! While many of my friends don’t understand why I like it so much and think there are better options, it remains one of my favorites. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the food is delicious. Chips and salsa are served almost immediately after you sit down. I always go for the fajita taco salad—it’s my top choice!
