Hive Cafe - Larnaca

This is more of a paean of appreciation than a review. stars cannot justify the gratitude that I feel especially about coffeeshop 29 and photis because I make my Cyprus experience unforgettable. despite the majestic ruins of the ancient, the sweeping look of the medium sea, the delicious food and the raised drinks that you experience in this beautiful land, coffeeshop 29 was undoubtedly my favorite part of the crypt. which stared as a cozy walk into this beautiful looking eckcafé, turned into a forerunner for a visit every day of our 4 day stay. the incredibly insulting mr. photis, which we would find later, is the father of the actual owner and only temporarily directs the caffe, while his son travels, gave such a positive mood that we felt as if we had coffee with a friend. he told us that they would have a live music later in the evening and we enjoyed our coffee visit so much that we decided to look over. was so glad we did. the duo of local musicians dug out English and Greek hits and were so good that they cheered the crowd and sing along for good 3 hours. herr photis was also there, along with the rest of his beautiful coworkers, chatting, singing, laughing and enjoying the wonderful evening with the patrons. house speciality cocktails with crypto and Greek liqueurs were phenomenal, free matsicha dish flowing and the experience could not have been fun anymore. a night to remember. the next morning he was still out of the energy that ran at night. the day we decided to have a last coffee and a farewell of mr. photis and coffeeshop 29. a good hour of laughing, chatting and talking about the good things in the world with him. a last little authentic taste of cyprus that made us realize that this was not a good one, but later a visit.

This is an extraordinary place, a truly hidden Gem I spent a wonderful times, alive band of 2 play Saturday and might soon be Friday as well beat of English and Greek music, and I have no clue why performers are not celebrities although their voices are much much better than many pros , as for service very fast and atmosphere is truly perfect with a cozy twist , snacks are amazing and prices are lowest in all town, such a nice place highly recommended

The owner is the kindest we met in Larnaka, not to mention the coldest beer we got here. Also the terrace is very nice. We really suggest to visit this place :
