Double D's Chili Dogs has gained quite a reputation among the locals for its chili dogs, and I couldn't resist trying them myself. Upon my visit, I noticed that the buns appeared to be a generic brand from Walmart, and the hot dogs seemed to be from Bar S or Lykes. However, what truly sets these chili dogs apart is the homemade chili, which elevates them to perfection. While waiting in line to order, I often asked other customers about their favorite menu items, and the overwhelming response was centered around the chili dogs. They definitely seem to be the star of the show!

You have the best chili ever! Kevin ordered 2 hot dogs with chili, we got Teddy 2 hot dogs (no rolls...lol), and I ordered the chili fritos. Everything's great!

My husband and I ordered hot roast beef po'boys from your restaurant tonight just before closing time. I have to say, they were absolutely delicious! The sandwiches were served hot, packed with meat and gravy, and the ingredients tasted really fresh. The fries were also hot and fresh, and you could tell that the oil used was clean. We will definitely be coming back again. The staff were polite and friendly, too. We were very pleased customers!

The friendly, hometown atmosphere makes you feel right at home, and the food is excellent! Be sure to try the peanut butter shake, and the fries are fantastic as well. The prices are reasonable, and the comfort food hits the spot!
