Local Yet Exotic. After living in the area for five years and enjoying most of the traditional local cuisine both at home and dining out, it was thrilling to discover a sushi and hibachi restaurant nearby. The quality of the food is commendable; all the raw fish is fresh with no strange flavors. The eel sauce and spicy mayo are satisfying, and the appetizers are both fun and delicious. However, the service can be inconsistent—some days it’s outstanding, while other times it’s rather underwhelming. On better days, the servers often engage with our children, occasionally gifting them small toys or stuffed animals, which is a lovely gesture. The prices are slightly higher, but given the quality of the food, I’m fine with it. Just be prepared to spend around $50 for two people, similar to what you would at other sushi restaurants in Houma. Personally, I hope this place continues to thrive.
