However, during my last visit, they were closed, so I opted to order a liquado instead. To my surprise, I ended up getting food poisoning and was sick for 10 days, requiring two trips to the emergency room.
Good lil place for real Mexican tacos and tortas. The Mexican shrimp cocktail has a unique taste, I believe they put orange juice in it, could be wrong though... They have good selection of Mexican sodas and liquados (milkshakes) overall good experience, will definitely go back...
This was my first time coming to this place. I ordered a Red Chile burrito and it was ok, but for the price it seemed a bit high. Obviously I should have ordered a TORTA!!!
The food here is quite good—well-prepared and flavorful. The tacos are fantastic, and I would also recommend the burritos, tortas, and aguas frescas. It's one of the better Mexican restaurants I've visited in Las Cruces. The staff is very small, with just one cook and a woman at the counter. Some people have mentioned that she comes across as rude or that they didn't enjoy their service, but I personally haven't found her to be a bother. She's not particularly warm, and she tends to refuse to speak to me in English, despite being American. Additionally, I've noticed that the restaurant sometimes closes earlier than the stated hours. Other than that, the food really is excellent.
I ordered four shredded beef tacos and four chicken tacos, all topped with onion, cilantro, and avocado. I also had a shrimp cocktail, and I absolutely loved dinner!
