Unfortunately, we were in a rush and had to get the food to go, but they went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Definitely go here. You will leave happy!
Easily one of the most pleasant breakfast experiences my wife and I have had in our travels. Gracious hosts who were friendly and very accommodating. The food made from scratch was out of this world! My wife is a big biscuit and gravy fan and Mother's is easily one of her favorites of all time.
This place is truly a hidden gem. I had the pot roast special which was flavorful and everything was cooked beautifully. My meal came with a drink and the BEST key lime pie I’ve ever had. It felt like I was eating at my grandparents house. I finished my plate too fast so I wasn’t able to snap a picture but I’ll definitely take one next time.Parking: A mothers place is hard to find. Look for building E and you’ll find it on the backsideWheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair ramp
I have never been to a restaurant that personifies a Mom and Pop place any more than this place. They make sure you get your food the way you like it. The meals are mostly all $15, including tax, dessert, and a drink. The special was sweet and sour porkchops. It came with potatoes and a scalloped cabbage. We also got a reuben with the chicken gnocchi soup. The dessert was a pear cobbler. All the food was delicious! This is a MUST GO TO place. It is a refreshing change from the chains. The personal touch is delightful!
If you're feeling tired, the world seems even crazier than usual and you'd just like to go home to family and have a great home cooked meal, this is the place to come. The atmosphere is warm and homey. You feel like you dropped over to a friend's house. The owners welcome you with warmth and friendliness. The food is indeed home cooked. What more could you want.?I really like their prix and menu fixeé way of operating. Yes, $15 might sound like a lot, but it includes absolutely everything. That's ALL you'll pay, period. I happened to go on a Wednesday which is liver onions day. I had iced tea, the entré and a dessert. It also comes with a roll butter. The liver was cooked just the way I like it, flavorful and tender. It was accompanied with mashed potatoes, a rich gravy and string beans. I don't like string beans, but these tasted good. The dessert was a delightful pear cobbler flavored with almond which was perfect. I'm still remembering it even though it's been well over a week since I was there. There's also lasagna on Tuesday. Call if you'd like to know the rest of the week's menu. They're also open for breakfast which is on the same price and menu fixeé system although less than the lunch price, depending on what you order. The restaurant is located in a part of the Telshor Plaza that I didn't know was there. It's a little hard to find, but definitely worth the effort. You won't be disappointed! And once you've been there, you won't ever forget how to go back again. Enjoy!
