Beauty Essex Las Vegas

This is my favorite restaurant in Vegas, hands down. The duck is a show and culinary delight! Even people who have never had duck (or don’t think they like duck) will love it here. And the poke with freeze dried foie gras isn’t to be missed!

Phenomenal meal. Will definitely be back. Awesome service as well.

Had the classic pork buns and ramen. While those seem very basic, the execution was amazing. Also had the scallops, which had the perfect sauce and a few sprigs of some crunchy stemmy vegetable I wasn't familiar, which brightened the dish. Portions aren't large, so order extra. You won't be disappointed.

This was my fifth time at Momofuku and it is hands down one of my top five favorite restaurants. However, this was the worst experience I’ve had here, in regards to the service. Our food was excellent, but the service was not good. Max was certainly kind, but he was not engaged. My boyfriend told him it was his first time and nothing was explained to him after. Once our entrees arrived, Max never came back to check on us or see how our food was. We finished eating and Max came back with his tablet and said “check?” and that was it. There was a larger party behind us that got all of his attention the manager’s, which is understandable. However, to not get checked back on after our food arrived was alarming for a 5-star restaurant. We had more interactions with the support staff (busser and drink runner) than we did with our server, which was disappointing. For the amount of money we spent and the standard of this restaurant, I was pretty shocked. I’ll continue to support David Chang and Momofuku, but I’m hopeful that our service will be better the next time we visit.

My expectations were a bit higher. It tasted “shopping mall” food. Good but not wowed. Service was ok.
