On a wonderfully beautiful evening, the waiter was very polite and helpful, and the food was excellent.
Our waiter seemed impatient from the start. He quickly took our appetizer order, which included calamari, and shortly after, he took our entrée orders. To our surprise, our entrees arrived less than five minutes after our calamari, which made us feel rushed, especially since we hadn’t even finished our appetizers. The waiter didn’t offer much beyond the usual scripted remarks. As for the food, the quality was mostly good; however, the shrimp and lobster fettuccine was overly fatty and the noodles were overcooked. The pasta alla vodka was quite tasty, though. As we were still trying to enjoy our meal, the waiter asked if we wanted to hurry up, which made both of us feel quite uncomfortable with the entire staff hovering around us. We hoped for a lovely birthday dinner for my friend, but we didn’t even have time for dessert! Our meal lasted only 35 minutes—we arrived at 5:05 and left by 5:40. We were incredibly disappointed; we were looking forward to a great experience, but it felt faster than a typical fast food meal. This place used to be excellent, but I’m truly let down by the overall experience.
I always love a meal with tons of flavor and a truckload of calories! This is not the average fast food meal, so don't expect to do it on the cheap. Great food, good service and not horribly priced.
My family and I ate here after catching a movie at the nearby theater. Planning to be hungry after the movie, we were excited to grab a bite. We made a reservation and were thankful that the restaurant gave me a call to confirm prior to our seating time. The service overall was good and all staff were attentive and kind. The ambiance was overall nice and somewhat upperclass basically what you would expect from a high end shopping center like the Town Square. Unfortunately, that’s where the illusion ends. The entire restaurant had VERY dim lighting throughout so much so that everyone needed a flashlight to even read the menu. The beautiful white tablecloths were covered with a similarly colored paper, 3 out of 9 in our party left with a paper cut from the edges. The food arrived with apt timing however, even though we weren’t waiting very long, nearly everyone’s food came out lukewarm and my husband’s Chicken Milanese sauce was almost ice cold, noodles bland and chicken the only item with flavor on his plate dry. My dish, the Spaghetti Pomodoro, had bland and a mix of flat noodles and traditional spaghetti noodles in addition to also being lukewarm and lack of flavor. Luckily, our server came around with parmesan because that was the only thing that saved the dish for me. Overall, we were a little disappointed with the food we received for the price everything was marked at. If you don’t mind that, the service and ambience is decent for a chill date on a random Tuesday. Sadly, our family left with a little lackluster taste in our bellies. That reason, I would be a little reluctant to recommend this restaurant to in the future.
