I would recommend coming earlier in the day because most of the desserts were sold out by the evening. There are a few tables here but it seemed quite busy even later in the evening.Food: 3/5
We ordered honey toast with Nutella and almonds to go but it smelled so good we didn't make it to the car and we ate outside. The honey toast was everything you would want in the perfect honey toast. It was warm light and perfectly toasted. It was as though they just baked the bread. It was so darn good! The service was great, the staff were friendly and patient and we will definitely be back.
Randomly choose this place while driving around, never ever go in Chinatown. It had good reviews so I said why not . It 's cute place when you enter. They have many options to choose from, but I decided to try the vanilla cookie frappe, it had whip and Oreo cookies on top. It 's with coffee, she made it so good. If I 'm back in the area, I will definitely try other drinks and the honey/whip toast. Go try!
In town with the family for the weekend. We'd just had dinner and were in search of honey toast for dessert. Searched on Yelp, and that's how we ended up here. If we have no plans for tomorrow, we're definitely coming back!Is Sweet is a small place, but has a welcoming comfortable ambiance. It's located at the end of a small strip mall in a spacious parking lot. There is only 1-2 handicap accessible parking spaces located at the middle, so if you need it, you'll have to use the ramp there to get up. We made the mistake of parking close to Is Sweet, so I had to step up onto the curb since I didn't want to walk all the way to the center and back.We ordered honey toast with condensed milk as our additional topping, bit all honey toasts come with honey and whipped cream. It is HUGE, and could easily feed 4 people, 6 if you all just want a taste. We also ordered a couple of desserts from the display case: chocolate mousse and Nutella mousse. The chocolate mousse is very rich, and definitely a delight for people who love chocolate. The Nutella mousse was an adorable bear face. Not as intensely chocolatey, and has sponge cake with the mousse under the chocolate shell. If you did not order a drink, there is self-serve water dispenser available. Patrons should bus their own tables. There is a tray/bin located next to the water dispenser. There are 2 single stall restroom located past the counter. It has plenty of room for folks who need to transfer to the toilet, although the toilet paper dispenser is placed a bit low, and I am ambulatory and have normal hand function. The paper towel dispenser gets int the way a bit during hand washing.
This place lives up to its name it's definitely sweet, at least all the things I had tried were. This is located at the back of a plaza with 1 busier restaurant. The lighting makes it so hard to find this place. The dessert menu is hard to read since it's written with a glass marker on the glass but the drink menu is located right above the bar. It's a cute little place that has a variety of different things and is open late.I ordered a strawberry iced tea and it was SO sweet I only had a few sips, it had an interesting taste to it. I also ordered the matcha crepe cake I had no words for this cake. The presentation was adorable but the actual cake was quite literally whipped cream, it was so heavy and I didn't taste any matcha. The crepe cakes are so sweet and only filled with whipped cream, it's a HARD PASS for me, now would I recommend it. I initially wanted the sizzling brownie but to my surprise they were sold out.The aftermath of eating at this place was a complete disaster I felt so bloated after eating 30% of my matcha cake and that bloating didn't stop. I had such terrible stomach ache the following morning. Not to mention, it's SO overpriced for what you get. You can go to nothing Bundt cakes and get 2 mini bundlets for the price of 1 slice of whipped cream the iced tea was also $5, I'd rather get a whole gallon of sweet tea from the market...The service was nothing special, the guy who took our order didn't seem like he wanted to be there. My rating is as follows:Food: 1/5Service: 3/5Ambiance: 3/5I don't see myself coming back here...
