Don't know about these bad reviews at this location.... But every other location is amazing. Seems strange to me that Metro Pizza wouldn't look into this.. It's the best pizza place in town. The atomic fries are to die for. They have a calendar with a special every day of the month. The pizza crust is so good you think you were in New York.Metro... You need to check on this location and find out why it's dragging your good name through the mud.........
Sorry but we gave this place 3 tries. The first try, the only saving grace was the free cannoli we got. It left a good feeling, masking the slow service and semi we don 't care what you think attitude. The next time, we were sat in a dark corner and waited almost 30 minutes to be greeted and then our food came out...not the right items and the pizza was cold. We tried talking to a supervisor and thought our concerns were heard. So, we decided to give it one more try. Because the food is pretty decent and we were told it was locally owned. Tonight, we were seated fairly quickly by an unsmiling hostess, waited about ten minutes for our server and decided to just order food and drinks all together. Fairly certain the face mask was covering her unsmiling face too. I don 't think we got more than two whole sentences from her the whole 95 minutes we were there. When she came back, after dropping our drinks off, it was with one salad, set down between the two of us who ordered salad, with no words and no implication about whose it was. I stopped her when she tried to zoom past our table and asked. As she walked away she mumbled it 's yours, I only have two hands. And then we waited another 5 minutes for the other salad and had to THEN ask her for silverware. Okay. Food came out about 20 minutes later set down in front of us, and again, she walked away. I believe she asked do you need anything else? But I can 't be sure. Let give her the benefit of the doubt, but it really doesn 't matter in the large scheme. We didn 't see her again until we had to flag her down and ask for our check. Waiting game again. We get the check and give her our card and proceed to watch her walk past our table four times before I tried to get her attention and ask for our card back. I got a muttering reply and a head shake. I think. It was as she was walking past. The last time we saw our waitress, she was throwing down the receipt on our table and walking away again. NO thank you, no nothing. I swear, we tried to give it another try but after tonight, unless we hear that there has been a management change AND customer service lessons, we will not be coming back.
It was nice to try out a spot off the strip. Definitely a fan of Metro Pizza. They have a few locations but I have only been to this location. Parking was easy and the restaurant was clean. I enjoyed being seated in a booth and reading the history of the restaurant on the walls. I also got to meet one of the owners Sam and he was personable and a fun guy to talk to. on the menu:5/5 Meatball Sliders: If you love meat ball sandwiches this is a must! Topped with melted Provolone on a soft house made garlic knot. The meat ball is moist and flavorful and balances well with the garlic and provolone.5/5 Fried Mozzarella: Who doesn't love fried cheese! Crispy outside and cheesy inside with no greasy feel and you definitely get that cheese pull.5/5 Ranch Chicken Salad: Who goes to a pizza place and gets a salad. Apparently, I did because I felt I needed more veggies in my life lol. This salad was huge with fried chicken sliced, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons, shredded mozzarella and I had the ranch dressing on the side. What I liked about the salad was the tomatoes and cucumbers were chopped and not sliced.5/5 The Green Valley: Pizza with green pepper, mushrooms, onions, cherry tomatoes and black olives. We had a vegan friend with us so this was what we chose. It was actually really good and I would order it again.5/5 The Honolulu: OK I know there's a whole debate with pineapple on pizza but it wasn't too bad. This was a Hawaiian pizza made with ham, pineapple, onions, green peppers and bacon bits. Maybe I enjoyed it because it had bacon on it, but you should order this if you like pineapple on your pizza.I can't wait to come back and try other pizzas and their desserts. I just had no room for dessert this round but I would love to try their cannoli's next time.
I've been going to Metro for years. I don't know what's happened. Service is terrible. I understand that food cost is high but everything is smaller. Not as well prepared. Their online app is a joke. I ordered a Izzy. Got a text confirmation and they never got the order. The manager offered to call the other locations to see if I called the wrong one. Then she disappeared. Hard to support them when they don't try
