This is my 3rd time eating here and the last. We saw the server talk to the manager and still wouldn’t come over. We had a hard time getting our water’s refilled. We said something to the hostess as well and we saw the manager overheard us and quickly walked away. They only took half off the steak. Would not recommend!
Prior to our reservation, we enjoyed wine at the bar. The bar person was friendly, professional and knowledgeable as he also discussed menu items with other bar patrons. The host showed us to our table and our wine followed. Our server, Ken, was quick to the table and offering his knowledge and support for various menu items. We started with whitefish sliced thin with greens and citrus dressing. The whitefish was drizzled with hot oil. This appetizer was delicate and paired with the greens made it even more delicious. Ken recommended the sticky ribs as a popular menu item. They were glazed with sweetness and the meat fell off the bone. For entrees we ordered the deep fried whole branzino and the sweet soy marinated black cod. Both fish were cooked perfectly and in the style of Morimoto. Our server Ken, served us a celebratory glass of champagne and a mango sorbet for a birthday.
Hands down the best restaurant in Vegas! We dine here during every trip. The food is amazing from appetizers (HIGHLY recommend the rock shrimp tempura) to sushi (medium fatty tuna melts in your mouth) to your entree (hands down have to try the Ishi Yaki Bop Buri (yellowfin tuna they cook it in a hot bowl at your table) to the dessert (cheesecake was amazing). The waitstaff is phenomenal. Djuno (pray I didn’t misspell his name) was outstanding! Do not miss this restaurant while you’re in Vegas!
We stayed at MGM Grand and dined at Morimoto which was a great choice. The service was great. It was my birthday and they gave us a complimentary champagne toast. The oysters were perfect. The cocktail sauce accompanying the oysters tasted freshly made, delicious. The yellowtail rice was yummy, also a nice touch with the table side presentation. My bf had the black cod which he loved. They also gave a complimentary sorbet scoop for my birthday which was also fresh and delicious. The manager also stopped by the table to make sure everything was going great. Which I got the names of the server and manager, both provided good service. We hope to be back in Vegas soon and will dine here again.
The food was absolutely wonderful. Service was great. Easy booking. Pricing was a bit expensive but it is to be expected for Vegas.
