However, I have to highlight the Ruth's Chris in Las Vegas at Harrah's for surpassing all my expectations. The service from everyone we interacted with was exceptional, but I want to give a special mention to our waiter, Hunter. He made this one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. If you find yourself at Ruth's Chris Las Vegas, be sure to request Hunter as your server. Thank you to the entire staff and management for making my anniversary dinner truly magnificent!
The Ruth’s Chris in Fresno is located on the edge of a lovely mall. We were seated promptly, and I decided to order a classic Old Fashioned, something I can't get at home, while my wife opted for a glass of red wine. I usually skip appetizers because I want to save room for steak. I ordered the New York Strip, and my wife chose the Petit Filet, both cooked medium rare, of course. Honestly, anyone who orders their steak well done should be kicked out of the country! Putting that aside, the steaks were absolutely perfect—tender, flavorful, and juicy. I also ordered some mashed potatoes on the side and couldn’t resist having a bite of my wife’s filet mignon. Perhaps that’s why I ended up having heart surgery in the first place! Overall, it was a fantastic meal with great drinks and super attentive waitstaff. Ruth's Chris, I should have come here a long time ago. Highly recommended!
I opted for the 3-course meal priced at $115. The seafood gumbo as a starter was very good, with a flavorful roux. Some of my dining companions ordered the Caesar salad, which looked fairly average. For the main course, I chose the 11 oz filet, which came with a personal-sized side. I went for the creamed spinach, and let me tell you, it was more than enough for three people. If you're dining with a group and all choosing the 3-course meal, I'd recommend ordering different sides to share. While my steak was slightly undercooked, which can happen with a cut that thick, I expected a more consistent doneness for the price point. After all, with a meal costing around $100, I anticipated expert cooking. That said, the meat was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth; even the parts I thought were undercooked didn't require much chewing. I could really taste the dry aging, indicating it was a prime cut. The seasoning was quite light, and while I did add a bit of salt—something I often do—I know I have a penchant for it. For dessert, the only option was cheesecake, which was decent. It felt a bit dry to me, though others at the table enjoyed it. The chocolate component didn't stand out either. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. However, I'd say it's quite overpriced, which is to be expected from a chain like Ruth's Chris.
Ruth's Chris Steak House unexpectedly WOWED me! My sisters made a reservation here to celebrate my birthday this was my first time eating at this restaurant. I never really had an interest in eating here (I don't eat red meat , but I think this experience forever changed my mind. [Ambiance] We sat next to a window that provided a beautiful view of LV Blvd. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and perfectly designed for an elegant dining experience. We ordered a lot of food! Here's what I enjoyed: Complimentary bread served with freshly whipped butter. Excellent! Seared ahi the sauce was amazing. Stuffed mushrooms I love mushrooms and this dish was really tasty. You gotta try it. Chilean Sea Bass Ah mazingggg! The panko garlic crust added a nice crunchy texture. The fish was perfectly cooked and the spinach with lemon butter was delicious. Cauliflower Au Gratin a slightly lighter version of the potato side dish; it's really good. Potato Au Gratin this signature side dish was my favorite. It was rich, creamy, and indulgent. Sweet Potato Casserole another signature side dish and it was absolutely superb. Chocolate Lava Cake with Chocolate mousse decadent and delicious! Creme Brûlée this was good, but I only had a small bite because I was stuffed at this point. [Service] Ernest and Mala were attentive and provided top notch service. They made us feel like VIPs. The restaurant manager, Christine, also made us feel welcomed when she visited our table and thanked us for coming in. Shout out to the bartender, AJ, who recommended our delicious wine, it was excellent. It was clear that this place is well managed, and everyone enjoys working there rare, but certainly a treat to see. 5 stars! :
New Mgmt is a joke! I guess thats Vegas and their greed again. They don't want you sharing certain plates even if you add an entree! I've been a Diamond Plus cardholder for years. Never had any problems until this new Mgmt. Prices naturally go up but don't tell me what I can do with my food and who I can share it with. I'm spending upwards of $200 and I can't share with my lady?? Thats crazy. I would be fine to left overs but there are no microwaves and rarely refrigerators in the rooms in Vegas. Anyhow; I'm one patronizing your establishment! thanks for ruining Mothers Day! Since you can do that so easily; tell Mgmt they can get the middle finger! No; they can get both of them!!!!
