Smashburger - Las Vegas

You have to go all the way up to the 4th floor to reach this restaurant. It's likely the best value for your money in Rio. The bill is standard and the prices are typical of a Vegas resort.

The staff at this restaurant are extremely hostile. Tanya is particularly confrontational with customers and the manager lacks the ability to properly oversee the employees. There is a lot of dysfunction among the staff. I would strongly advise against dining here, unless you enjoy the possibility of Tanya causing a scene. The workers struggle with simple tasks and those looking for a job should avoid Smashburgers.

We just spent 3 days at the Rio and there’s not a lot of choices to eat. While the food was great the employees seemed as if they hated their jobs. I always start by saying Hi how are you and it’s as if they didn’t care when I asked the cashier what he recommended out of the 2 burgers seeing as I never been there before it was if I was bothering him. I went with the spicy Baja which was fantastic. But we kept saying it’s like no one liked their job. We had lots of people and ate here all 3 days. One of the employees was even on his cell phone during working. It just sucks that ever since covid good customer service went out the window. I just love when a worker is upbeat and positive. Makes the experience better

Kashyra was very friendly and expediently got us our food and helped replace a soda that ran out. The cashier, I didn't get her name, was also friendly and VERY knowledgeable and super helpful with everyone who was ordering. The cooks did a great job getting food out fast even for as busy as it was. No time to take pics, food was amazing and I HIGHLY recommend the Smash Tots....I honestly think that's all I'll eat the rest of my stay here! ? Thanks for the good food and experience!!?

I love this burger restaurant in Rio. The burgers are delicious and I really enjoy their smashed fries. The staff is also excellent, very attentive and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Rio.
