The Plough - Lathom

My partner and I came here for drinks and a meal, and the staff were extremely polite and friendly. The food was incredible—I had the brie and the Vogelburger, and it was top-notch. We definitely plan to return, and we'll be bringing everyone with us for the next visit. It was an amazing experience!

I visited for the first time and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly, and my friend and I were seated at a lovely table. The waitresses were attentive and polite. The atmosphere of the pub is nice and relaxed, and the food was really good. The carvery looked excellent, but I opted for the fish and chips, which were delicious and well-prepared. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring we weren't left feeling hungry. The prices were reasonable too. I definitely recommend a visit!

The atmosphere was a bit chilly, and perhaps that was due to it being a quiet Monday night, which may have affected the heating. However, the staff was lovely. The food was impressive. My aunt and I both started with pâté, while my cousin had halloumi fries, and they were delicious. For my main course, I had salt and pepper chicken, along with roasted rice, chips, and curry sauce, and it was absolutely amazing. I couldn't finish it because the portion was so large. My aunt ordered a steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables, which looked beautiful, and she said it tasted wonderful. My cousin had chicken curry with rice and naan, and she really enjoyed it, mentioning that it wasn't overly spicy, which was perfect since she isn't a fan of hot curries. We decided to skip dessert because we were so full after all that. Overall, I was very satisfied with my salt and pepper chicken!

What was for a sound of the plow, great eating and great portions, we had a great time and the staff are beautiful.
