We went during the shift change time so had to seat ourselves as there was only one lady serving and also helping in the kitchen also. But than she came to us and explained the situation and was really nice so we really didn't mind the longer wait times. We ordered eggplant parmigiana tower and margarita pizza and both were pretty good. One thing for sure it was fresh. Pizza was a hit doughy but cooked thoroughly so no complaints. The worse thing we tried was soda, not sure why it tasted so odd. If I lived in the area I would go again to try other items as place was good but it's definitely not worth one hour drive.
Went here based on reviews but I didn't read them. Went thinking it was a higher end restaurant but it's more like a dive bar that happens to serve pizza. Sauce was a little too sweet. The dough seemed like it was premade (almost like a Papa John's or dominos kind of dough). Cheese was good. Also got a side of meatballs. Not bad but again the sauce was too sweet. The owner is very friendly but I still wouldn't come back. They are more of a not so decent bar than a nice Italian restaurant. Not my style.
The service was phenomenal! My wife and I were in search of a good restaurant with great seafood and this was the one. The owner and the family staff were so sweet and made us feel so comfortable and at home. I ordered the delicious frutti di mar . It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I finished it with a delectable tiramisu!! Everything from the service to the meal was superb! This is our new favorite spot and we will definitely be back
We visited the restaurant, but it was unexpectedly closed at 6 PM on a Thursday night. There were no signs or notifications indicating this. If they’re closing so early due to being slow, it's likely the food isn’t worth trying.
I ordered the chopped salad, but what I received was not what was described on the menu. It included mozzarella cheese that wasn't mentioned, while some items like salami and olives were missing. The lettuce was a bit soggy and tasted average. We also tried the linguine with meatballs and red sauce, which was just okay. On a positive note, the pool table added a fun touch to the place, but there were only three other customers during lunch hour. They certainly need to elevate their game. Several items we tried to order, like octopus, were unavailable, forcing us to change our choices repeatedly. Lastly, the bathroom could use some attention as well.
