Von Herzen - Lauenburg/Elbe

With magnificent spring weather we had made our way to Lauenburg, where we wanted to take a closer look at the old town. Some time ago we had taken a short break on the way to the south, and the impressions of this short visit led us to a new, more intense visit this time. The sun radiated from a turbid blue sky, the thermometer climbed significantly above the 20 °C threatened by the weather frogs. We had run the Elbstraße almost in full length, now it had to be a break. We stood in front of House No. 46, where a sign “Frühstück Cafe – Gifts – Guest House” was offered. At the entrance we came through a hallway to the gift boutique, from there over several nicely furnished rooms finally to the terrace. A table on the armor we immediately occupied was also released. A fantastic place right on the Elbe, so to speak above the Elbe. Already in the entrance we had seen a shop window with cakes and cakes, the pieces were not only cut small. So we decided to share a piece. The offer of coffee specialities, salads and snacks was on the table as a welded sheet, so we were able to inform ourselves in advance. Then a little later we ordered Latte Macchiato, once Cappuccino and a piece of Marzipan Poppy cake with two forks. The service thanked and disappeared towards the kitchen. A little later, another very young service – obviously a helper or intern – came and first brought us the coffee specialities, then in the second run also the cake. Coffee comes here as usual from an appropriately equipped coffee machine, so there are hardly any differences. Both Cappuccino and Latte Macchiato were to our satisfaction. The cake, on the other hand, was homemade and that was also tasteful. At least she tasted us excellent. While we enjoyed cakes and coffee, the terrace filled with view, and finally came a group of six people for which chairs had to be restored from the other tables. When we finished with coffee and cake, we quickly paid and fled from the storm, not without leaving to pick up the toilets that were very modern and very clean.

A dream with a view of the elbe. large service, great breakfast, lovingly furnished, professional with heart. everything in the sign of the hearts: highly recommended. reservation urgently required! also dogs are allowed there and do not get the water dish required. easy to make

The name is here program. beautiful decorations, beautifully situated terrace to the breakfast, which was very lovingly staged. everything was bluntly clean and very nice, thoughtful. everything was right here. if I should be back in lauenburg, definitely back in this beautiful guesthouse!

The name of this house fits absolutely. everything here comes from the heart. we were on a bike tour and stayed here. Although we were on the day of rest, we were served on the afternoon on the terrace coffee and cake (big torte from our own production) . the breakfast with view of the elbe was excellent. very, highly recommended!

Sometimes I stroll through small villages with old city centers like mölln, boizenburg or lauenburg. with open eyes you can discover many things like old historical houses, factory houses or caffeine and restaurants. last week I went through the picturesque sub-city of lauenburg, where I described some houses and arrived at the elbschifffahrtsmuseum. because I was interested, I wanted to visit my dog, but we were released without reason. on request, the employees on their home right. no problem, then I'm back without a dog. short rotation in elbstraße and I saw the new caffeine “From the heart”. before there was the Müller-Grotte. the caffeine of the hearts is a gift shop with attached caffeine or a caffeine with upstream gift items. I don't care because there's something for everyone. we crossed the gift goods department and asked “how” whether we are wanted here. wild nod from the waitress and she gave us a beautiful place on the window, with great prospect of what happened on the elbe. I ordered a piece of apple cake and a cup of coffee that was also brought fast. the cake really tasted very well, but came out of the cooling. the coffee was hot and there was even warmed milk. the sugar stood on the table. After we emptied, we went after the payment through the gift department and saw many beautiful things that were reasonable price. I saw two knodhas made of wood, in each case 49,50 € and 99,50 €. They were almost equal but different prices. my resümee: the caffeine and the gift shop are recommended. there are not only coffee and cakes, but also other foods that they can find out on the website.
