Gasthaus an der Mauermuhle

During the SPS exhibition we had a business dinner in this restaurant. the restaurant is limited in space, but the quality level of eating is very good. the menu allows them to choose among different ways most of them based on meat. the place is well arranged, but the service is quite slow.

My average rating is generous. Apparently, most of the workers of this restaurant had announced some time before we arrived and although there were not too many diners, the one waitress was overwhelmed, nor was she particularly competent. The...menu allows every person to decide the size of the ordered steak, which is correspondingly inexpensive. that's a nice note, and those who ate steak said that meat was good. as vegetarian I ordered an salate and baked kartoffel, which were also good. but as long as the kitchen and the waiting staff do not improve, I would stay away from this place.

When we go to the masonry mill, we make it more for the sake of the food. their publicity say the best steak in the city, a wishful thought! the steak prices are exaggerated, the service impersonal and the facility in depressivem. when they go...for a cold beer in the summer they will like to sit outside and enjoy an amazing view that is for me the only great advantage of this restaurant.

Beautiful place with real and good German food. very slow service, with too many tables for a waitress.

Da mein Mann und ich gerne Restaurant in unserer Gegend ausprobieren, war gerstern das Gasthaus an der Mauermühle in Lauf dran. Wir waren zuvor noch nie in einem richtigen Steakhaus, deshalb war die Freude groß. Wir sind ca. 7 Uhr angekommen und wurden von einer jungen, netten Bedienung zu einem wirklich schönem Tisch, direkt an der Pegnitz gesetzt. Eine andere nette, junge Bedienung brachte uns gleich die Karten. Kurze Zeit später haben wir unsere Bestellung aufgegeben und dann bekamen wir unsere Getränke wirklich sehr Flott. Wir mussten überhaupt nicht lange warten, obwohl einige Tische gut besetzt waren. Auch beim Essen ging es recht schnell und es war wirklich ausgezeichnet. Zusammendfassend kann man sagen, super Team, super Essen, super Lage. Bei euch stimmt alles und wir kommen gerne wieder.
