Good food in a context of handsome surroundings with welcoming staff. Our group had the croissant sandwich with chicken salad and fries, the chicken pasta, and the shrimp pasta. Best fries we have ever eaten. How they make such a commonplace item spectacular, I do not know. The chicken salad was also top notch. Would have given 5 stars, but all the bread was stale and hard, the waitress did not even bring the salad we ordered, and brought a wrong meal to one of us. Even so, we had a great experience. I would love to return when visiting Laurel again.
One of my best meals on vaca! Fresh, and the fries are like nothing else iv ever had! My husband's catfish poboy was awesomeeee too! Also, VERY good service!Food: 5/5
Wasn’t my first choice but it turned out fine. Husband said it was the best gumbo he’s had and trust me he’s had a few. I had the club sandwich which was great. They menu was very southern which isn’t my taste but the plates looked good. They could clean the windows by the front .
Fantastic service. The food, not so much. The fried green tomatoes were okay, but the sauce was a hit! I would advise against getting the gumbo. It was more of a thick tomato gravy with a few tiny shrimp. I really hate to give a bad review, but this stuff was pretty bad.Parking: Street parking is free if you can find a spot. You might have to park a couple of blocks away on weekends or at busy times.
