Gojo Ethiopian - Laurel

The food at this restaurant is superb and the service is excellent. I highly recommend dining here. I give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect score of 5 out of 5.

The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere, and our waiter was extremely friendly. We tried the beef sambusa, which was delicious, although we were surprised that there were only two in an order. The main course consisted of authentic Ethiopian sides served on a spongy, sour bread, which you eat with your hands. The flavors were fantastic! There were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available. The service was for dine-in only.

Food was tasty (Ethiopians use too much oil/butter in their food) The owner, young man, was friendly. Very costly (almost 25$ for one meal including tax and 15 to 30 tip he demands. Quantity of food very small. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

Poor excuse for Ethiopian restaurant. First time wasn't good but gave them benefit tried a second. Service is ridiculous. It's like this is a part time job or something and that's the owner.

I was a little hesitant at first due to the mixed reviews, but my first experience at this restaurant exceeded all expectations! Our server, Hawi, was incredibly friendly, kind, and funny. We absolutely loved him! The food was also outstanding. I was worried it might be too spicy for my husband, but it was just right. We will definitely be returning for another meal soon!
