Very welcoming nepalese owner, who speaks perfect french. Excellent cuisine. There is a huge buffet at lunchtime, with delicious specialities (the Momo are outstanding with an homemade chutney you will never forget) and everything is fresh and prepared by a real nepalese cook. A pure delight ! Prices are very reasonable. In the evening, the menu is reduced, and you need more time to get served, as everything is prepared freshly. As the place is almost confidential, very little people in the evening, which is a pitty. If you are on your own, you can observe without being observed the people in the hall just under your feet !
We by chance happend to discover this restaurant while looking for Indian lunch. But I would like to recommend this place. They have Buffet over lunch time dinner by order only. The food is good quality, freshly cooked with a home made taste. The best is the service. The owner welcomes you with great warmth makes u feel special. Hence language is also no problem as the guy speaks French, English Hindi. The restaurant is near to platform 3 at Lausanne Railway station.
Delicious Indian cuisine and very friendly owners, it is just above the kiosk an information center. The price is not too high.
The lady was beautiful and the food was amazing. You need to ask if there is something on the menu that is not available because when I went there she told me because she has fewer customers these days; she 't order so much meat so there were a few dishes not available. That tells me the food is fresh. Also the menu is not too big (again the sign of freshness and the spiciness level can be adjusted if you can not eat spicy. The momos are delicious, we had the chickens because they told us: the ones we made with beef were a bit too strong so I can do something with chicken. It was worth waiting for them for 30 minutes (we had our starters in the meantime. It was kind of hard to find the place, but it's a funny story to tell my friends.
Excellent food. I tried her Palak Paneer (Spinach cheese) court on recommendation. It was one of the best I ever had, even in India. Fresh ingredients was exceptional. They made it with medium spices and it felt just like medium-size for me, so I guess spice levels are in accordance with Indian flavor range. I'll be back soon to try their buffet menu
