Bulldog - Lausanne

Went to the Bulldog Bar with some local friends to watch the Champion League finals. Found the bar was very popular with lots of soccer fans. Although we had to stand, viewing the large TVs was no problem. Had no problem getting glasses of beer...at the bar. Bartenders were very efficient with a nice selection of beer. However, we did not try the burgers.

If you want quick and casual food then this is the place for you but don't expect much. I would rate this establishment on the lower side of average solely because my husband liked the BBQ sauce for his chicken nuggets and pizza. The place...has both indoor and outdoor seating. I would call it a sports bar mostly because it has big screens playing games and a bar in the middle. It's close to the cinema theatre. Placing an order requires you to do so by placing it at the bar. You get handed over a beeper to tell you when your order is ready to be picked up. One thing grabbed my attention, the tables and bars weren't wiped clean and most of the tables still had empty glasses and plates from previous customers. We had to navigate through a bunch of tables to find one to sit at and even with that I had to pull out my wet wipes to wipe down the table and the amount of dirt that ended up on my wipe was disgusting. Also there was spilled beer on the counter of the bar by the cashier where you place your order that got on my jacket. You would think that at least the person taking the order would see that and wipe it. We did not order drinks but by looking around most patrons ordered beer. We ordered the chicken nuggets with BBQ sauce, Bruschetta (Italian) on a bed of greens and Margarita Pizza. I personally couldn't have the pizza because it looked very greasy and heavy, but my husband liked it The chicken nuggets were fried in a good way not too greasy, BBQ sauce was good according to my husband. The Bruschetta was Ok, I enjoyed the bed of greens mostly. I personally wouldn't come back due to my personal taste but my husband who likes this type of food would come back. So it really comes down to what you prefer.

Sehr schönes Lokal. Zentrale lage und schöne aussicht auf der Terasse. Der Classic Bulldog Burger ist empfehlenswert. Personal ist freundlich, zuvorkommend und schnell.

Schrecklich, unfreundlich und teuer. Der schlechteste Platz in Lausanne. Lesen Sie einfach die anderen Bewertungen. Habe keine Worte dafür, wie schlecht der Service ist.

Ich hatte ein schönes Mittagessen hier. Die hausgemachten Chicken Nuggets waren ausgezeichnet. Sie haben auch 14 Sorten vom Fass! Sehr schöne Atmosphäre und sehr zentral gelegen. Nur 100 Meter vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Der Service war ausgezeichnet . Ich kann dieses Restaurant sehr empfehlen.
