Ate this lunch with friends, frankly not great, small portions (half loop) cabbage sausage: 26 frs....pdt not cooked! I'm still hungry. Avoid. Same for my friends, sliced tough veal, etc... Disappointing.
The place is nice, unfortunately the menu has been oversimplified... basically only the great classics remain, which are undoubtedly also the most profitable... fondue, perch and entrecôte... Not a very interesting menu so, too bad, not so long ago we found dishes that were a little out of the ordinary such as frog legs, marrow bones and other originalities that we don 't necessarily cook at home... the same goes for the desserts. Disappeared, undoubtedly sacrificed on the altar of profitability, a manager must have gone through this...
Always at the top: warm welcome, magnificent terrace and delicious meals
What a disappointment to give 2 stars to a place that we love... Simple place, simple product, sometimes frozen but who cares, the terrace is so cute and the waiters are so welcoming! Finally... warm when the manager is not around... yelling at the waiters right under our noses because they served too much wine and telling them that we have to think about profitability, I've never seen that! Already very poorly received at the Greek place next door by this same manager, if I return to the Café de la Poste it is only because the service is simple, authentic and generous. Profitability is not achieved by a few lost dL but by building customer loyalty.
