Chocolats Favoris - Laval

I have been here twice and the second was just as good as the first. They have 4 different flavored soft ice creams (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and orange.) You can request half-half. The chocolate dips are yummy. They have hazelnut, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, dulce de leche, caramel fleur de sel, peanut butter and a few others. You can ask to taste the different dips before you choose. I had vanilla with peanut butter. It was amazing. Last time I had vanilla with caramel fleur de sel which was also delicious. They serve Gelato too which you can add any one of the dips to also. I recommend everyone to give it a try. I hardly ever eat ice cream or chocolate but I love it there.

Omg, I can't tell them how long I waited to have a vegan soft ice cream. it seems like nobody does, but then we hit chocolat favoris and when I say we stumbled. I was looking for the end of the earth. at this place there was a strawberry or celestial vegan soft servier, but nothing beats a vanilla soft served immersed in chocolate. still looking for half chocolate vanilla vegan soft servier. my man was immersed in chocolate and I had a feeling that would be too rich for me, so I just got a pure vegan vanilla and it was perfect. we both have the medium size that was a very generous part. I tried the chocolate dipping and it was thicker than I expected and super rich, almost too much chocolate. not like the thin bowl we got as a child, but still good. will definitely go back as I just found out that this is a chain and there is one in ottawa.

Maybe it's because I hadn't had soft serve in a while, but their strawberry ice cream dipped in hazelnut chocolate blew me away. I'll definitely go back. Updated from previous review on 2022 07 18

Vegan soft serve ice cream available in vanilla, strawberry sorbet and seasonal blueberry sorbet. Two vegan dip options, dark chocolate with or without nuts. The Petit size was plenty big enough for me. There’s an even smaller size, called Mini. Next time, I won't have it dipped. The blueberry soft serve is delicious.

This was my second experience at Chocolat Favoris and I really enjoyed it! They have 3 different vegan chocolate dips one with hazelnut that’s reminiscent of Nutella , and 2 vegan ice creams vanilla or raspberry sorbet. I tried the vanilla this time and was slightly disappointed as I found it a little watery and not as creamy as I’d hoped, but it was still yummy and nice to have the option available. My favourite would have to be the raspberry sorbet it’s excellent dipped in the Tanzanie dark chocolate!
